Ticket purchase service fee
Ticket purchases for Athens Epidaurus Festival performances from the Hellenic Festival S.A. box offices (Main box office, Odeon of Herodes Atticus, Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus, Little Theatre of Ancient Epidaurus) are not subject to any additional service fee.
Purchasers however shall be charged with a service fee, should they purchase tickets online or by telephone.
The only official ticket sales websites for the Athens Epidaurus Festival events are www.aefestival.gr and www.more.com. Tickets purchased from unauthorised resellers or platforms shall not be considered valid.
The official points of sale for the events of Hellenic Festival SA are exclusively its box offices, its call centre, the official website of MORE, and its affiliated physical resellers. Therefore, Hellenic Festival SA and the official distributor MORE do not assume any responsibility whatsoever for tickets that are made available outside the aforementioned channels and are distributed without any guarantee as to their correctness and accuracy. Tickets purchased through resellers outside the official network are under the sole responsibility of the purchaser.

All seats (lower and upper tier) are numbered.
Audiences are kindly requested to arrive at the venue 60’ prior to the start of the performance, to avoid inconvenience.
TICKET TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The purchase of a ticket is valid for one person only and only for the date, event, and numbered seat for which it was issued, otherwise the holder will be denied entry.
♦ All tier seats are numbered and the selected seat is definitive.
♦ Not permitted:
- Cancellation of tickets after purchase
- Changes (to another day, time, or seat)
- Entering any venue after the performance has started
- Admission of children under 6 years of age to all venues
- Footwear that causes damage to any historic performance venues
(No heels allowed in the Odeon of Herodes Atticus, the Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus, the Little Theatre of Ancient Epidaurus)
- Smoking and consumption of food and drink in all performance venues
- Photographing, recording, and filming
- Tipping
♦ To enter the venues it is necessary to:
- show the tickets in paper or digital form during ticket checks;
- present your identity card and the required legally validated documents certifying your status, if you have opted for special discount/reduced price tickets;
- deactivate all mobile phones.
♦ For orderly, safe, and timely entry to the event venues, it is recommended that the audience arrives on time.
♦ In case of cancellation of the event due to strike, government bans, force majeure, adverse weather conditions, etc., Hellenic Festival S.A. reserves the right to change the date, time, and venue of the event.
♦ In case of definitive cancellation of an event, tickets will be refunded in due time and from the points to be announced by Hellenic Festival S.A.
No ticket cancellation is allowed at any event.
In such cases, only the amount corresponding to the nominal price of the ticket will be refunded. No additional charges per ticket may be refunded as these are considered as a fee for services provided for distribution purposes through MORE.
In any case, no refund of the money paid for ticket purchase is applicable, should the performance be interrupted halfway through due to adverse weather conditions.
The official points of sale for the events of Hellenic Festival S.A. are exclusively its box offices, its call centre, the official websites of MORE and Public, and its network of resellers. Therefore, Hellenic Festival S.A. and the official supplier MORE are not responsible for tickets offered outside the aforementioned points of sale. Such tickets are provided without any guarantee as to their validity and accuracy. The purchase of tickets through resellers outside the official network is the sole responsibility of the purchaser.

Concessions are available online (where available and in limited numbers) and at the Hellenic Festival box offices until the available number is sold out, upon presentation of the required documents per concession category (65+: copy of ID, students: photo of academic ID, unemployed: updated certificate of unemployment, artistic unions: copy of updated professional ID, art schools: copy of educational ID), as well as full contact details. Discounted tickets are available on a limited basis and are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis until sold out. Hellenic Festival S.A. takes all appropriate technical and operational measures concerning safety and data protection and observes all the principles of lawful personal data processing, in accordance with the GDPR, Greek legislation, and the decisions of the Hellenic Data Protection Authority.
Upon purchasing tickets, spectators are required to accept the terms of the applicable consent form.
